ARBORE is a regenerative brand created by Carel Woodworks from Transylvania - part of the Creative East. We develop and manufacture furniture and interior objects encouraging good-hearted living as a gentle balance between beauty, simplicity, elegance and meaning.
We combine wood with other natural materials and our objects honestly connect creativity with pragmatism, light with shadow, vivid color with neutral shades and novelty with tradition. Thus creating fluid and uncomplicated elegant interiors.
Everything we create and manufacture draws from our three sources of inspiration, all centered on the Creative East: the good-hearted elegance of modernist female artists, the simplicity of mid century architecture, and the philosophical beauty of traditional craft.
We have always paid close attention to and been inspired by our world’s aesthetics history, its emotions and depth, and mixing all that with the contemporary culture and the exuberance creativeness of Eastern Europe is how we keep pace with the dynamics around us.
The inception of Arbore began as a seed in the visionary mind of Elena, taking root and blossoming like the plum flowers that adorned the gardens of her childhood. These flowers, symbols of hope and resilience, were a constant inspiration.
Raised by a strong and wise woman, Elena and her three sisters learned the power of unity and support, echoing the harmony found in the four seasons. This familial bond, shared with their mother, is beautifully symbolized by the five petals of the plum flower, representing each of the women in her family.
For us, Arbore is more than just a name, it is a tree of life that embodies our core values of growth, kindness, and connectivity. Each branch of our tree signifies the contributions of our family members, spreading wide to nurture the collective spirit where creativity and innovation thrive.
This tree expands not just upwards but outwards, reflecting our journey from local artisans to global influencers in the furniture design industry.

I am a female furniture maker and owner. Our future must be imagined and built with a passion for humanity, creativity, and unpredictability, contrasting with the precision of algorithms and AI. I love people as they are, believing that we belong to the Earth, not the other way around. I advocate for social causes and the definitive recognition of women's essential role in society. I see kindness as a strength, believe in positive energy, and enjoy offline interactions. I love to sing, dance, write, and read.

I'm the vibrant chaos coordinator and drama enthusiast behind the scenes here. Beyond my creative pursuits, I’m deeply devoted to animal welfare, especially dog rescue.
